Restaurant Kontraste in Flensburg

We have been eating in contrasts for years and have been satisfied every time so far! The pizzas are particularly recommended, as they are inexpensive, yet super tasty and not too small. At the moment we have to switch to the delivery service due to Corona, but this is not a problem because the food has always arrived on time and hot.

Specified delivery time 70 minutes, after 100 minutes the food arrived. Super carelessly in the packaging and cold. I seldom ate food that tasted so bad with that. All in all a smooth 6, never again.

The specified delivery time was 60 minutes. Asked after 80 minutes, the driver would be on the way. Food arrived after 110 minutes (with a direct journey time of 10 minutes). Food was cold. Never again!

Ordered food through Lieferando today. Spaghetti Bolognese, pizza bread and a cola. What I was able to experience here, unbelievable and quite unfriendly to the customer: Unfortunately the food came half an hour later than expected, which in my opinion is not bad at all. However, the supplier called me and told me he had been looking for the house for 30 minutes and couldn't find the address. I wonder why he didn't call earlier (e.g. after 10 minutes ?!). In addition to my address, I always write a URL / web link that shows a map of directions on Google Maps. But apparently you don't read the corresponding line here either or you don't have time / idea what to do with it ?! Furthermore, I was then told that they would probably no longer deliver to my street in the future, because the way from the street to the house was too far away (I measured the distance of the closest street to the front door: 130m). When the supplier was finally at the door I received 2 of 3 items in the order (the drink was missing!) - When I asked him about it, I got my answer: "But you had not ordered any drinks ... Oh wait Yes, it's no longer worth it, the way is too far. I tell my boss to credit you for the drink. " I find that very customer-unfriendly. I had also given Lieferando a tip beforehand, so I have to say that it was really worth it ... Finally about the meal: The spaghetti Bolognese tasted OK, but was quite bland with rather thin noodles. The pizza bread: Very funny ... It was just a sesame flatbread ? Maybe we had just had a bad day with the order, but we find this very customer-unfriendly and would never order again here (although this is probably the 2nd best delivery service in the area)! Addendum, December 10th, 2020: So far I have still not received the money for my drink ...

I've been enjoying eating here for years. The staff is very friendly and the food is excellent. The restaurant is also very nicely decorated.

We ordered from Kontraste this evening. The food was delivered twenty minutes earlier than advertised and everything was there as we ordered. And the food for the little ones (pasta with mushrooms, peas and cream) I tried and it tasted completely normal. The bread with the chilli was also perfectly fine - a little raw at the bottom but you can put that in the oven. Unfortunately it ends there with the positive. The chili was so overly salty that my partner couldn't get it down, even after adding half a pack of cream. There were around six kidney beans in total and there were tons of huge slices of paprika in it. I ordered my pizza with additional shepherd's cheese (+ € 1.9). There were about three little pieces of shepherd's cheese on the whole thing. It was very dry because there was hardly any sauce, which was completely OK because the sauce that was on it was grossly salty. We had eaten in the restaurant once before the Corona times and didn't find it spectacular back then. But we wanted to give them another chance. Ugggh. Tonight was the last time. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend contrasts

I can't comment on the delivery service, but you can eat well on site. Pizza is not very Italian, but still tasty. The calzones are great. Usually I only go to lunch.

Ordered food, very unfriendly supplier, couldn't find the address and said he didn't want to look again that long, we should come and pick up the food ourselves next time. A drink that was ordered in addition to the meal was not delivered. When asked, we were told that he did not want to do the "long" way back to the car and come back again. He just said the money for the drink will then be credited. Impossible such behavior! We'll never order anything there again!

We have just been able to order our pizzas via the online-based site. I am more than happy. It was on time, very tasty and absolutely tasty. A great service and even the supplier kept his distance and mask! Too ? I can't deliver a photo because the pizza was eaten straight away. Thank you very much

Nice and well-kept restaurant with friendly and attentive service. Salads as well as pizza, pasta and casseroles are great. Only the Giros could be improved. Overall, very recommendable.

Excellent food and Pizzas. Cozy place and fair prices. Good opportunities for parking out front. Can be recommended overall.

You can eat well and be healthy

The pizza was really not good. Completely overloaded with toppings and the dough certainly not homemade. Tasted like a bad kebab man and not like in a restaurant. Perhaps the restaurant should limit itself to a few dishes and not cook many dishes with half-knowledge.

Great place, close to the town center. Very good pizza straight from the wood-burning oven, salads or pasta also very good. Nice service. I recommend this restaurant. And the portions are impossible to eat :)

Really nice menu card from all over the world. Big portions to fair prices. Not too cozy, but nice place to start an evening going out. Service it self should have 5 stars. The waiter made some jokes and created a nice atmosphere around our table.
